Our donors move us Forward
|The campaign’s first major challenge grant has been received from the Charles and Esther Krieger Foundation. The trustees of the foundation hope its substantial gift to the Congregation will encourage others to contribute to the future of the building and the programming that is drawing a new generation to find its Jewish home.
Temple Beth-El was an important cornerstone in the Kriegers’ lives. Charles was a past president, and Esther was, for so many years, a “chief ambassador” for the congregation. She was among the first to greet any newcomer, and many of the congregation’s current leaders were among those whom Esther welcomed.
|Miriam and Harold Nickelsporn were dedicated Temple Beth-El members, leaders and contributors for many years. When Miriam passed away, her family decided to collectively fund the dedication of the elevator in the renovated building. Her daughters and six other households from among Miriam and Harold’s grandchildren and great-grand-children have pledged these funds to give all visitors access to all three floors of their Temple Beth-El. Mimi would have loved it.|
